I have the OnePlus 10 Pro and its a good phone in many ways, but it is locked down tight. They've come a long way away from where they started with the OnePlus One.
I'll keep it till it breaks and then I'll have to consider what to get next.

What s great introduction to the series! This was the first one i picked up as a kid, and I've read it (and the rest of the books) several times since! You're in for a treat!
I just followed some instructions I found for steam tinker launch. I do remember having some issues getting it working at first, but I got it up and running and it's been working since. Can't remember exact steps though, I'm afraid.
If you're going to be using the script extender, some of the most obvious mods to check if it works are Native Camera Tweaks and WASD. They're also, IMO, some of the most important mods to improve the experience.
I'm using vortex through steamtinkerlaunch, and it's working as expected. If you haven't tried that, give it a go.
