That's interesting. I'm no spaceologist, but I wonder if that's consistent with our observations of the universe. My cursory searches lead me to believe that there's just a boatload of ice out there. I'll have to rewatch Voyager at some point, and see what the technobabble explanation is.

I think Seska was an interesting character who was ultimately hampered by her association with the Kazon. The Kazon were poorly-designed antagonists; there was nothing compelling about them, either politically or aesthetically. I love Voyager, but it's a real slog getting through Kazon space.
Maple MAGA would've been in charge if the USA didn't have their election first.
You're welcome, I guess? Best of luck to you, sincerely. I really hope that Raiders of the Lost Ark villain you've got up there never gets his clammy little hands on the levers of power. It's mind-boggling how little charisma these grifters have. Really makes me question its value as a stat.
Right? As if I needed any fucking help doing that.
Ok, so maybe (depending on the mythology one subscribes to) he wasn't a Prophet. Nevertheless, it seems inarguable that he was a prophet. Dude was mad prophetic.
I don't see how you've made your point here. Jesus being a prophet isn't mutually exclusive with his being the son of god, or so it would seem to a layperson like myself. If he can be the father, the son, and the holy ghost, it stands to reason he can be a prophet. Lots of hats, I believe he wore.
Great podcast where they go through the series, and interview some of the actors—Patrick Stewart and Patricia Quinn are definitely in there. https://maximumfun.org/podcasts/i-podius/
I really appreciate the effort you put in, here. Also, I thought the Nickelback guy was Dax Shepard for a minute.
Thank you; I made the alex jones connection right after I commented. Feels like it also works as a grim joke at the usa's expense!
As someone who voted for her, I'm completely on board with never seeing her or hearing from her again. She utterly failed — lost a (mostly*) free and fair election to a demented fascist idiot who's destroying the country. Enough of the responsibility for our current situation rests on her shoulders that she can fuck right off forever, along with Biden, the Bushes, the Clintons, Mitch McConnell, Joe Lieberman, Newt Gingrich and all the other neocons, neolibs, and corrupt, amoral, greedy, misanthropic assholes that got us here.
She might survive as a politician if she took responsibility for the loss, and pushed for change in the Democratic party. Hopefully, she'll do that, and not follow Clinton's example. Seems unlikely.
- There was probably some amount of fuckery, but if the margins were as wide as they should have been, they couldn't have pulled it off.
I don't really see what's objectionable about asserting that Jesus was a prophet—according to modern usage of the word—while acknowledging that he may not have met some religions' narrow definitions of the term. I can be as pedantic and prescriptive as any 40-something internet user about topics I consider myself well-versed in, but
is some really misplaced 'old man yells at cloud' energy.
