The way I know anti-DEI sentiments are inherently racist no matter how they spin it is because they seem to forget DEI literally also covers white people. Especially for ivy league university selection and the tech industry. They're either so far up their own ass they completely forgot about that (until it comes back to bite them in said ass) or they don't care because they know and are secure in the fact that anti-DEI is pro-whiteness and will be enacted as such.

If you ever get the chance, do try it. It's an incredibly refreshing and pleasant dish

It's as real as real gets. A comedian can still be an apple connoisseur

You really don't have to. Unless you intend to work in the capitalistic work of clothing marketing, there really is no point. Most of the people out there with style or that look good build their own personal style or at the very least take the time to understand what looks good on them, and that has a lot to do with proportions as well. Timeless style works best for a lot of people, especially considering most trends literally circle back around if you give them enough time.

It's harder than ever to follow trends now that there are such things as "microtrends" and everyone's just trying to sell you something constantly. Idk if this is stemming from a social insecurity about your looks, but trust me, people who find their style and rock it authentically look the coolest and will attract the right crowd for them (usually). There's people out there rocking vintage fashion, punk, hipster, academic - and they all look so dang cool

Pretty sure the unihertz jelly line has that covered

I don't know if this website has already been posted here, but I love it so much. I've spent hours reading the reviews and the fights in the comments, everything about this is pure gold.

I want a Japanese ketai phone with android 10+, easily rootable, AND HAS A DAMN TOUCH CRUISER. They day Sharp decided to stop making flip phones with touch cruiser is the day innovation truly died.

Or an e-ink flip phone, that would be pretty cool.

I made this when the game trailer was released and the studio was doing Fanart Fridays (and yes, it did get featured ^^)

What kind of owl do you think it's gonna be? :0

I've taken a look at Peertube in the past and I remember finding some genuinely cool instances and creators... but I promptly forgot them and neglected to write it down, dingus as I am.

Although I'm looking for science/tech/environmental and educational instances and creators, feel free to mention any that you enjoy ^^

This has probably been asked before but I wanted to add another layer/an alternative.

So, I ask, where did your username/pseudonym/nickname originate from? What's the meaning behind it?

Or alternatively, which is the most creative/interesting nickname origin you have come across?

For the most part I've been optimistic when it comes to the future of AI, in the sense that I convinced myself that this was something we could learn to manage over time, but every single time I hop online to platforms besides fediverse-adjacent ones, I just get more and more depressed.

I have stopped using major platforms and I don't contribute to them anymore, but as far as I've heard no publically accessible data - even in the fediverse - is safe. Is that really true? And is there no way to take measures that isn't just waiting for companies to decide to put people, morals and the environment over profit?
