Several people have done good pope drag, and I would see any of them in the office: Catherine O'Hara, pre-rape Marilyn Manson, the dude from Francis Bacon's Study after Portrait of Pope Innocent X. But RuPaul would probably be the best in terms of policy.

I'm thinking the tipping point has been reached, the pendulum is now moving away from conservatism, and we'll see little upsets like this as rural states begin to shift back. Missouri is facing a hell of a medicaid cut which they can't afford, that may ripple for a while.

Unfortunately they have short memory spans but eventually they'll flip for a generation, like the New Deal era. People will just give up on MAGA and go the other way.

That would be the um, joke

No NDA on earth prohibits giving a vague idea of what the duties and industry were. You may not be able to say the specific projects you worked on, or maybe even the name of the employer under extreme circumstances, but that would be like MI5 level rare, and those folks aren't out applying for the jobs you are.

The real trick is having an LLC so you can just point to that and say you were consulting or self-employed during that time. Or have a friend with one.

My SO and I have $130k between us and if we get the IBR figured out, it might bring our total payment down to about $1200/mo which is not something we can afford. I've been laid off since Christmas and just started a job, so we're $20k in the hole and haven't been able to pay anything. Now I see my credit is taking hits. That hurts but again, no money. Oh well what's 7 years.

These people watched Disney dragging their IP in and out of "the vaults" like clockwork every dozen years and took notes.

You have to go underground... weather underground... * theme song plays*

The manual labor willingness drops off in the 40s as people's health begin to deteriorates people who work in manufacturing tend to drink and smoke and be arthritic with failing discs and knees by 55. White collar jobs have a big advantage with aging, which is why your average age in a factory skews young.

Yep say something controversial but broadly acceptable, downvote yourself to look attacked, then come back in a few minutes and upvote your command and you're now the top child comment under a post. Stealthy but effective.

The first mainframe account I ever had was an nCube2 supercomputer. No timesharing or anything, the full power of a Unix system just waiting under your terminal session. Today I have the same CLI under the hood of my MBP because it runs on a Unix kernel. In terms of power tho, this laptop makes the supercomputer look like a toy. I wouldn't call either one's use case "very basic things."

Yes and realistically the Hornets were because the teal/purple combo went super hard in the 90s especially in the form of outerwear.

I've seen people discreetly vape weed while walking between concourses in airports, and I've done it, and so what. Not around crowds. Bathrooms tho yes, into the exhaust fan. IDK how those of us with legit medical applications are supposed to medicate during travel days otherwise. And thank god for it. I used to have to take harsh anxiety meds instead.
