If you're a Qatari prince, $400m is trivial. If anyone would give a genuinely free jet, they would.

That being said, this one is not a gift. It's manipulation. Stroke Trump's ego and pretend you like him and he'll do whatever you want, as long as you make him think it's his idea.

Qatar is not Saudi Arabia. Way to drive the point that you can't tell Arabs apart. Also Qatar is merely paying tributes and concessions, also bailing out Boeing.
