I was just at a Tech store, and a family asked an employee what Gemini AI is. (lemmy.ml)

The employee tried to Ask the AI what it can do, but he had to Fact check Google Gemini so often that the family lost interest XD

At the same time I was checking out a last gen Switch for my Router and the Fairphone 6, and I got to hear the employee literally argue with Gemini about what Pixel phones it is availible on. To be honest, it was really hard not to laugh

That would require departments to work together. It would also reduce the Gemini leader's bonus and promotions if their features rolled into another department's project. So instead a feature that worked great is removed and new program that works worse in many ways replaces it.

Companies only promote managers of new products.
