After after sounds like a new wave '80s band that never got very popular but has a small dedicated fan base.

Gf roleplay with prostitutes is very common, isn't it?
I'm not joking, I need to know how much I can afford.
just so you understand: prostitutes make bank manipulating emotionally vulnerable men
a common phenomenon is men thinking they have "something special" with a prostitute except that prostitute has "something special" with like 40 more deadbeats and those sorry deadbets send her money in wire transfers monthly
sorry for the depresso posting but it isn't as rosy as you'd think
Its a bit more complicated than that since the type of society we have that promotes things like comodified sex and women as sexual objects often directly leads them to sex work through conditioning and lack of resources/other opportunities, creating this dynamic not of their own volition, but because thats we've taught them is required/demanded of them, and it's not like we offer social programs to support people in poverty. At the same time this same mentality is what leads men to feel unloved and drives then to seek things like this, since men's emotions are seen as a "weakness" isntead of something to be developed and your worth as a man is often tied to sexual "conquests", unironically leading men to be exploited by the sex industry by their own actions. This is what is meant when they say that the patriarchy hurts men too.
I know some sex workers who genuinely enjoy hanging out with their clients. They may do the “sex” as a job, but the “fun” part for them is hanging out and actually making a human bond, not being some guys fuck toy. So the hug may be more meaningful than you think.
A lot of modern SW work in a sort of “girlfriend package” manner where its not just money for sex but money for doing social activities and hanging out together that usually ends in sex.
I didn't mean to imply exclusivity in how workers treat clients, there's probably all sorts of arrangements and social dynamics
I have to grapple with where I stand with prostitution.
On one hand legalising prostitution probably prevents higher incidence of sexual violence because at least the “horny” component underpinning sexual violence has been dealt with safely
On the other hand, it’s sad to see people get strung along in these arrangements where it clearly looks like they’re being taken advantage of. (Emotionally lead on to believe they have something special)
However it may be “sad” to us the observers; but maybe this illusion is the best some of these people could hope for.
I feel like some of the arguments against prostitution ("it's degrading", "it's unsafe", "it leads to trafficking") also apply to other jobs, but they don't get the same big emotional response. Probably because our society has unhealthy ideas about sex and women.
I would say that violence out of sexual frustration weighs more heavily on me than people spending money on a fantasy of a relationship.
bout tree fiddy
And that's when I realized the prostitute was actually a gigantic lizard from the paleolithic era.
It's so hard to get noticed in this town
