I hope the sacked employees use the negotiating power they now have to full effect. It'd be too much to ask that Musk pay for it all out of his own pocket, but that'd be nice, too.

7. No duplicate posts.
If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

Everyone in the trump administration should be removed from power and barred from ever holding office or working in government. They're the worst people.
Hell, while I'm waving my magic wand, everyone who ever has voted or would voted for a republican of their own free will is now barred from voting, holding office, or discussing politics. In six months we'd solve the climate crisis.
Sure, for six months pay up front and a severance clause for your untrustworthy ass.
First and last month's pay and an equal deposit, in advance. Plus a five grand hiring bonus, in advance.
Who wants to bet the workload will be double/triple what is was before, too?
Yes you're fired! but frankly, we need you to work. Your job is critical to our operations, and that's why we had to let you go. Yes we're cutting funding to that department, I don't want to get into the weeds about how we'll afford to pay you, but we do need your expertise. Now get out of here and stop being a lazy bum. We'll see you back at the desk next month.
