Pretty sure he ~~said~~ implied fuck.

Also, there is an anonymous person who did an interview and claims to have been a victim in Epstein's island and that Trump raped them specifically because they were similar to his daughter.

[–] DeceasedPassenger@lemmy.world 17 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

Not to give the turd any credit, only correcting because accuracy is important. "If Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her." Speaking in reference to her physical appearance. Fucking was very clearly implied but implied nonetheless.

The energy is the same either way. Nasty shit.

Yeesh I didn't realize there were so many. Damn. That quote was all I knew off the top of my head. Definitely more than just implying.

[–] buttnugget@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago

Very classic abuser behavior. Disgusting piece of shit human being who belongs in prison.

[–] Clent@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I'm not convinced he didn't have sex with his daughter. He may have wanted a version he could be more rough with or wanting to relive the moment.

[–] MTK@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

Dude raped children for years, I would argue that you need to prove that he DIDN'T rape his daughter too.

[–] MedicPigBabySaver@lemmy.world 13 points 3 weeks ago

Release the Trump/Epstein files

[–] WanderWisley@lemmy.world 11 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

It would be nice to have a president that you could go literally minutes without having to be in continuous dread about what they are saying, lying, and posting about doing to you. I know I dream big.

[–] slaneesh_is_right@lemmy.org 2 points 3 weeks ago

Maybe start slow, with someone who can read.

[–] keyhoh@piefed.social 10 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

The problems with Americans that say this is that this sentence is the limit to the extent they're willing to fight for their freedom. You're not absolved of the responsibility for your government. Regardless of how much you hate them, they represent you. The government's actions are yours.

Partly agree. I would criticize liberals that believe the lie of "voting is the only thing that matters". They will happily spend the next 4 years saying shit like this because they won't actually be hurt by fascist policy directly. They can make comments like this and move on with their day.

That would require them to be a part of a minority group being targeted OR be working with activist groups that are helping to protect the targets of ICE.

I'm a white male. I could ride this shit out until the USSR flies their flag over Berlin. But I'm not doing that. (And I was already on a list long before Trump rode the escalator anyway).

But if someone that is a targeted group and/or is actively resisting Fascism says this. Well, it's probably just them letting off some steam. But, you're right. I do find this is just liberals saying "America deserves this" as an excuse to not do anything that doesn't personally hurt them directly.

[–] keyhoh@piefed.social 4 points 3 weeks ago

I can get behind your sentiment of just blowing off steam, but I feel like it actually has the opposite long term effect that these people are going for. What I mean is that it creates a sense of complacency.

Unfortunately, I don't think the Trump regime is going anywhere. There is no riding this out. You just have to turn on any news source to see the violations to peace, freedom and democracy he's violating. It's been 6 months and this much has already been done. Very sadly to me, I don't think peaceful protest or voting will change anything.

We've all read history and we can surmise that this will only get worse. Much much worse. He's coming for everyone who dissents one group at a time. We, with any kind of wisdom, know where this goes. The only positive change will call for crimson streets.

My suggestion to blow off steam is to learn to use a gun and how to use it well. Words are water off the backs of the pedo class. I hate this new world.

Dawg in what world do you think liberals won't be targeted? They are your allies

[–] kuhli@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

A lot of liberals will just go along and continue about their normal lives until it's too late. They aren't our allies.

The ones that are willing to get out there and do stuff are.

[–] Quadhammer@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Man I think you could say the same about leftists. "Protest doesn't matter" "voting lesser evil doesn't matter" is all stuff I've heard leftists say and it is WRONG

[–] kuhli@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Yeah, they aren't our allies either

[–] Quadhammer@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

Blind leading the blind

[–] wheezy@lemmy.ml 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

They are potentially allies. But they are also just as likely to be the ones left when "there was no one left to speak out for me".

That's literally the point of that famous poem. It's about watching and doing nothing as Fascism targets each group they don't belong.

It doesn't start with "first they came for the Liberals" it starts with "first they came for the communist".

[–] Quadhammer@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (1 children)

They're coming for both of them dummy while you sit here and argue about ideological purity

[–] wheezy@lemmy.ml 0 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Talking about allies vs. people that will do nothing and watch as their neighbors are taken is not "ideological purity". It's just reality.

[–] Quadhammer@lemmy.world 0 points 1 week ago

Maybe your goal is to make people hate leftists

[–] Psythik@lemmy.world 9 points 3 weeks ago (9 children)

If you voted third party, you voted for Trump.

[–] wheezy@lemmy.ml 1 points 3 weeks ago

If every single third party vote was given to Harris she still would have lost.

Harris was such a historically bad candidate that she literally lost to the couch.

[–] Mulligrubs@lemmy.world -3 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago) (1 children)

That's not how any of this works. In many states in the USA, your votes for President are for entertainment purposes only; with our electoral college you can actually lose the popular vote and still win the election.

More and more people are leaving the major parties every day, voters are 40% independent with Ds and Rs at 30% each. I predict that the major parties will continue to lose voters every year, and anti-incumbent voters will increase.

[–] Psythik@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

That's exactly how it works in a 2 party system. Voting for a 3rd party is throwing away your vote, no matter how you try to spin it.

[–] Tlaloc_Temporal@lemmy.ca 5 points 3 weeks ago

Eh, if your state goes 70% R and has for the last 50 years, there's not much you can do. Unless there's a big movement, 100% of those votes go to R. Getting better local representation might be more worth it.

It's a really shitty system that promotes really shitty incentives, and has even shittier outcomes. I generally advocate for strategic voting, but in some places your vote literally doesn't matter.

Is a facist a person who discriminates based on faces?

[–] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 5 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

If so, a faci$t also discriminates based on income.

[–] myotheraccount@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

Isn't it just "faci", with the current time substituted for "$t"?

[–] mrgoosmoos@lemmy.ca 5 points 3 weeks ago

did you vote against him, though?

[–] HakunaHafada@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 3 weeks ago

That's a pretty low bar for morality, but.... here we are.
