America just minimized this notice and keep it in the background ..... along with a dozen other notices ... and they keep wondering why their system runs so slow and keeps freezing up every once in a while

There's no minimize on this popup...

...so its just tucked away off screen with just a couple pixels still showing justttttt in case we want to bring it back to the forefront LMAO

Not too harsh, but it does play right into the hand of the oligarchs. The thinking that this is some zero sum game where you can win by being morally superior further drives a wedge between common people for the benefit of those in power.

You are doing exactly what they want you to be doing, digging in your heels and announcing that you will never respect people who have different opinions than you. Opinions which the oligarchs spend billions to put into people's heads.

I vehemently disagree that this is a matter of differing opinions.

I want to reply to random people on Facebook with this but don't want to risk my account

I'm only still using the site to stay in contact with family members

I am going to! I have taken the risk and starting sharing all the wonderful things I find here. If my family doesn't like it, well, I guess I now know them better. They can always block me and make get togethers awkward.

I was raised "born again christian" and had the Bible shoved down my throat my entire growing life. Those family members last voted for Trump. My turn to shove morality down their throats. I have been thinking that when we gather for the holidays this year that I am going to sit them all down for the "I'm concerned for you and the state of your soul" talk they all loved giving anytime I made any personal choices while growing up.

I have also been sharing things to troll different hate groups on there. ...Is trolling bad when it's done to pedophile worshiping fascist biggots?

They hate the left more than they hate kids.

[–] pivot_root@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

That's not always true. Some of them love kids. Just, perhaps, not in the morally and legally acceptable way.
