In a Truth Social post Saturday evening, he claimed in all-caps that “the Biden FBI” supposedly “placed 274 agents into the crowd on January 6”.

No, it makes perfect sense. What he means was that people Biden put into the FBI BEFORE Trump took over, infiltrated the crowd to do all of the damage, violence and insurrection to try to make the peaceful MAGA folks appear to be the aggressors and to make it look like he was trying to overthrow the government...

... Which is why he pardoned them because... wait a minute. Let me try this again. You see Antifa was, no that doesn't work. Ok, I've got it now, they weren't insurrectionists, they were just tourists doing what tourists do, snapping photos, shitting in offices, erecting gallows.... I don't think I'm expressing myself correctly. It all makes sense because...

Biden.

It didn’t happen on his watch. It happened on his direct fucking orders.

He’s just trying to change the narrative so that others forget.

[–] ininewcrow@lemmy.ca 58 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Inventing new realities to comfort themselves

[–] nymnympseudonym@piefed.social 13 points 2 days ago

It's part of their Sky Daddy culture

[–] sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 18 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Nah, he's literally demented with dementia, he can no longer tell the difference between his own real past, his own real past propoganda, his own real current, and his own current propoganda.

He is a sad, angry, hateful, dying old man whose brain is rapidly going from cottage cheese to rancid cottage cheese.

[–] adespoton@lemmy.ca 7 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Having known a lot of people suffering from dementia, this doesn’t have the feel of dementia; closer to schizophrenia.

[–] CheeseNoodle@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

He's definetaly got some kind of memory issue, I watched a live speech where he randomly skipped back to an earlier point in the speech mid-sentence without seeming to notice, twice. Creepy part was the reporters continuing to ask question like nothing weird was going on.

[–] sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 15 points 2 days ago

Dementia + malignant, grandiose narcissism.

It looks similar, not the same, but similar to schizophrenia.

He... probably doesn't literally have persistent voices in his head no one else can hear.

But, he's surrounded by sycophantic yes men... who are enabling his delusions.

... and that has basically been the case for his entire life.

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.world 10 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Like that leftist that nearly assassinated him.

Why do these kinds of headlines keep getting posted suggesting that Trump is being forgetful? He's not, he knows exactly who was in charge, but he knows his base is stupid and will get riled up at anything he wants to tell them.

It's just a constant stream of outrage to keep the base riled.

[–] timbuck2themoon@sh.itjust.works 25 points 2 days ago

Im so fucking sick of the sanewashing.

[–] Formfiller@lemmy.world 19 points 2 days ago (1 children)

He seems pretty demented to me

[–] Kushan@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago

I am not suggesting for a second that he's completely sane or that dementia isn't taking hold, I'm merely pointing out that this kind of thing has been his MO for decades at this point. Truth never matters to him or his base.

He forgot what year he was inaugurated.

[–] DrSoap@lemmy.world 10 points 2 days ago

Or it's little breadcrumbs circling around the fact that he has dementia and no one is doing anything about it.

[–] BradleyUffner@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago

Just a little history revision. Nothing to be concerned about.

Epstein files are also a distraction. Impeach. Then straight to jail

[–] Mnemnosyne@sh.itjust.works 11 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Epstein files are the only thing that's maintained even a tiny bit of traction among his supporters and made some of them...well I'd say think twice, but that implies thinking a first time.

[–] BanMe@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago

It kind of feels like he pulled his usual strategy of saying it wasn't an issue and it's really still an August problem, not an October problem, but I'd love to be wrong here.

[–] Sam_Bass@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

He has a horse apple for a brain so can't really expect better

[–] officermike@lemmy.world 102 points 2 days ago (1 children)

This has "why wasn't Obama in the White House on 9/11" vibes to it.

[–] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 27 points 2 days ago (5 children)

I heard Barack Obama didn't go to work in either of the twin towers on 9/11 either. What did he know and when did he know it?

Trump RELEASED those FBI Agents from Prison!

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

So, for those following at home, the FBI/deep state agents are also actually "antifa" (or is it BLM?), and they formed a choir that Taco collaborated with, and then, later, he had to pardon all of the J6 criminals.

Who are actually FBI agents planted there by Biden. And they are really antifa/BLM.

Everyone tracking that? 🤣

[–] AnUnusualRelic@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

And the rest of the crowd was actually Obama.

[–] quick_snail@feddit.nl 4 points 1 day ago

Double Speak

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 40 points 2 days ago (1 children)

"appears to forget" no he's having another episode of severe dementia.

Can't say "he lied" can't say "he has dementia" can't say "he's a rapist" for fuck's sake corporate news, what the fuck good are you AT ALL.

[–] Blackfeathr@lemmy.world 10 points 2 days ago

They're good at sanewashing, samewashing, and enabling propaganda. They've got all that down to a science.

[–] Stern@lemmy.world 17 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

I mean technically it was Biden's fault that J6 happened, just not in the way Trump is saying. If Biden hadn't won, Trump wouldn't have tried to make it happen.

[–] Corkyskog@sh.itjust.works 7 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Well that wouldnt even be Biden's fault, it would be the voters.

Dementia is a sad thing to see.

[–] 4am@lemmy.zip 40 points 2 days ago (1 children)

The sadder thing is how many will blindly follow this dementia. That’s the real Trump derangement syndrome

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 22 points 2 days ago

So much this. The real derangement is that millions think a failed game show host and lifelong con artist (and pedo) is great for this country.

[–] AbidanYre@lemmy.world 26 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Dementia is a sad thing to have running the country.

While he's clearly in cognitive decline, let's not give him credit by blaming this on a disease. This is the same narcissistic gaslighting bullshit he's been pulling his entire life.

[–] knobbysideup@sh.itjust.works 8 points 2 days ago

For my dad yes. For this dictator wannabe child rapist grifter? Nope.

[–] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 33 points 2 days ago

Republicans claim that Roseanne was fired due to pressure from the Obama administration. It happened while Trump was president

[–] betanumerus@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 day ago

No one believes what this guy says. Even his supporters expect him to lie all the time.

[–] crusa187@lemmy.ml 29 points 2 days ago

He literally told them to march on the capitol at the end of his little speech. #neverforgor

[–] Wytch@lemmy.zip 22 points 2 days ago (2 children)

When everything is Biden, every Biden looks like a Biden

[–] dick_fineman@discuss.online 15 points 2 days ago

Malkovich malkovich? Malkovich.

[–] NABDad@lemmy.world 12 points 2 days ago

More like:

When Biden is Biden, every Biden looks Biden a Biden.

Your version is too coherent.

[–] you_are_dust@lemmy.world 11 points 2 days ago

Anybody remember when people were saying Biden wasn't even really president and it was Trump running things from a secret bunker?
