Don't you find it strange how every single election is somehow "the most important election in the history of the universe, in which we are on the brink of democratic and societal collapse"? But then when you vote for the lesser evil (Dems), basically nothing gets done, nothing gets fixed, and we simply move further to the right? Doesn't that bother you?

40% of Americans can't afford a 1 bed apartment, don't have healthcare, are in debt for decades from education, etc ... and Kamala is telling people to "be quiet I'm talking" and campaigning with republicans while sending billions of our tax dollars to fund a genocide.

While I didn't protest vote, I will 100% stand by those who did, because we deserve better than Kamala fucking Harris and the Dems.

What Democrats call "protest voting" is not protest voting. Protest voting is when you write in Mickey Mouse or something stupid like that.

When you vote for your favorite candidate, that isn't "protest voting". That's normal voting, and that's what you should always be doing.

I don't know what you call whatever Democrats do when they "vote blue no matter who". We need a new term for that. Maybe "zombie voting".

Biden and Harris were complicit in genocide. The United States wasn't vulnerable, it was terminal.

Sure, voting for the slightly lesser evil is good and all, but voter suppression is common and that's a lot of effort for a party that only differentiated itself from Republicans by their support for the "establishment" and "normality". People aren't gonna buy if the Democrats have noting to sell other than guilt-tripping and gaslighting.

Kamala campaigned on being harsher on immigration than Trump. She's the one who threw what should have been the easiest election ever. Nobody like Trump term 1. The dems becoming obsessed with statistics that give them an excuse only to appeal to the white middle class threw the game. You should appeal to VOTERS. But, go ahead and scold. Kamala and the democrats chose to be Right Wing Republicans-but-worse in the national elections at the most vulnerable time in modern history. They said "we're just like republicans! we also want want those dirty brown people out of here!" and lost because republicans wanted them out more. Democrats and Kamala said "we wont be radically different than republican-lite right wing biden" while republicans blamed him, and they won. All in, like you said, America's most vulnerable time to right wing extremism.

Kamala and the Democrats, in America's most vulnerable moment, countered extreme right wing nationalism with center-right wing nationalism lite (Liberal Nationalism), and lost. What is your explanation to their explicit, tactical, strategic choice to lose that way?

I think it’s important to have the election results counted by people in front of witnesses, and allow recounts.

Only then, can one accuse protest voting as having any impact.

The problem is that for many, this observation comes unexpectedly and does not make sense. However many problems can be avoided if the USA uses the same practices as most other democracies
