I'd do it for $50. Hell I'd do it for free if the accommodations were nice and it gave me a night away. I need a vacation.

Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.
Rules…
- Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
- Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
- Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
- No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
- New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.
Yes. Hell, I'd do it for $49,500.00.
Bargain
I gladly pay for it! I have paid for fake haunted house and I definitely pay visit a legit haunted house
Easy yes.
I don't believe in ghosts or spirits, so it'd be either easy money or something truly wild. I'm down.
Listen, I'm haunted every night anyway and don't get paid for it.
!2meirl4meirl@lemmy.dbzer0.com haha
Yep. Ideally I'd be joined by people who believed in ghosts so I could have hours of fun winding them up and scaring the living daylights out of them.
Uhm yeah. I don't know what an actual haunting would look like but I could at least try bonding over our mutual dislike of the states of our bodies. But for realsies 50k probably american or australian dollars or something and I get to learn about what actually happens after death? That's a steal. Maybe of my life, but still.
if I could have one scary night that would pay over a year's worth of wages I'd do it in a heartbeat
Absolutely not. Assuming the house is actually haunted I'd be too freaked out. Even if they're nice ghosts I'd be weirded out. My MH is worth more than 50k so I'm turning it down.
But the nice ghosts will be lonely then🌸
I get that. Depending on what it's like to be a ghost I imagine it might be a very sad experience also, so scary or not it might not be a very uplifting experience to be haunted.
Good point it could be depressing AF. Another reason to give it a miss!
Sit down. Sit down! As we relive our lives in what we tell you. Let us relive our lives in what we tell you!
I grew up in a genuinely haunted house (built in the 1600s) and spent a lot of my youth in a haunted former pub, so ... yes, no problem, lol
Sure. Hope they don't follow me home, though.
Depending what they're like that might be kinda cool
That depends, can I leave and forfeit the cash if things get too spooky?
Afraid not. You are stuck.
Well, how haunted are we talking? On a scale of "mysterious bumps in the night and seeing things out of the corner of your eye" to "pulled into a literal vision of hell where my ancestors berate me for all of my moral failings real and imagined, and from which I might never escape"? Because if it's the latter I'm probably going to say no but also 50k is 50k
You don't know till you get there, it depends who decides to haunt you, that's why I'm saying no. Although 50k tax free is tempting...
Hmm, on balance I think I'd still put my big-girl pants on and risk it, the odds of it being that bad are minimal and 50k is a lot of cash
