Federal workers who don't normally need social services are on their 21st day without pay, while food programs such as SNAP and WIC are going to run out of funding next month.

As the government shutdown barrels along, the impact on everyday Americans is growing.

It's creating additional stress on social service programs, which are now bracing for an increased need, including from people who don’t normally rely on their support.

Food banks from coast to coast were already seeing an uptick in visits from federal workers who are furloughed or working without pay. Now, they are preparing for an additional influx from Americans who rely on federal food benefit programs, which are set to run out of funding at the end of the month, such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, known as SNAP or food stamps, and WIC, the food program for women, infants and children.

This is their plan to advance the pace of societal corrosion by making people desperate which means more to be fed to the prison system and eventually so that the regime can declare martial law.

Perfect timing, right around the holidays. A lot of people are going to be going hungry...

While our "government" is buying new jets, giving other countries 2b of our tax money, and giving tax breaks to the ultra rich.

After reading aboit the IDF guards that said they would shoot at anyone who walked up to the food drives early, or were there after it closed on an hour theyd shoot them as well I really makes me wonder how many of the people that supported Israel would like to see the same thing done to our federal workers.
