Given machine learning, your grandkids might just throw it into their pile of data

They will be so happy to remember what wild messages were sent in the work group chat. Surely they will send those Screenshots to friends, too.

I wonder how many of these conversations would even still be intelligible in 50 years, given all the slang and memes.

I really dont think people will care about those things in the future. Data is worthless, there's too much of it.

We treasure pictures of our great grandparents because there is like 3 existing of them on the planet. No one cares about a billion stock photos existing only digitally.

Actual objects may be better (ie, great grandads core i7 machine, man, can you believe they lived using these dinosaurs ? It doesn't even run at 2.3 QHz! And only a 20 tb hdd?? I cant survive without at least 300 petabytes. )

Imagine your grandparents had a whole shelf of diaries, and they have decent legibility once you get used to their writing style. Would you read it, or go tl;dr? I'd definitely start digging into it.

I set up a tasker job to automatically delete cached pictures in specific directories (e.g. screenshots, downloads, etc.) every few hours. Honestly probably the most useful thing tasker does for me.

That reminds me. I’m gonna need to designate someone to delete all these dick pics after I’m gone.

My mind went to “Mother Love” by The Lonely Island with the title alone.
