Ah, so he referred to it like it’s some kind of gang, right? White power?

[–] BeN9o@lemmy.world 3 points 1 hour ago* (last edited 1 hour ago)

Hang on, another Charlie kirk event??

[–] Almacca@aussie.zone 18 points 7 hours ago

Maybe if James converted to Hindu he'd be less of a dickhead.

[–] fluxion@lemmy.world 14 points 7 hours ago

This guy sure knows how to keep a family happy

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 21 points 9 hours ago

Well if she does she'd probably be better at any religion than her husband who converted to catholicism then insisted on picking fights with a dying pope, killing him.

She must be so pissed, gonna make him sleep on the bed

This took me a second but got a good chuckle. Thank you

[–] faintwhenfree@lemmus.org 20 points 12 hours ago

Good joke. Everybody laugh.

Seriously gave me a good chuckle after days.

[–] criss_cross@lemmy.world 5 points 9 hours ago

“But I finally got the cushion stretched out just the way I like it!!!”

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 126 points 13 hours ago (2 children)

This woman chose to marry this sad excuse for a human being. She deserves no pity.

[–] Tiger666@lemmy.ca 2 points 8 minutes ago

She is a beard and is probably being paid very handsomely.

[–] Salamanderwizard@lemmy.world 51 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

I wonder how she can sleep. Like if the order was given to kill any non Christian non white, does she really think Vance wouldn't?

[–] nondescripthandle@lemmy.dbzer0.com 34 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

Money makes a comfy pillow.

[–] alaphic@lemmy.world 29 points 12 hours ago

Also, we know she has the bed to herself a majority of the time, what with him sleeping ~~with~~ on the couch so much...

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social 26 points 10 hours ago (2 children)

I think some people are forgetting something.

She's a woman. She's not white. Her religion is basically meaningless to these creatures.

This is part of the show. She is less than Vance to MAGA. Because she is a woman, and not white, the ultimate proof of her subservience to Vance is if she ALSO converts officially to (whatever faith he calls himself 🤮).

This is to show MAGAts that they can claim non-white women as their own property and make them do what they want. From what I understand from my Hispanic friends is that this is already underway with ICE kidnappings. Women, in particular, are separated. I can't speak Spanish, so I can't actually verify the translation.

The suspicion is that the "white replacement fear" is being fought by sterilizing the kidnapped women, or forcing them to bear white children (the traditional Nazi way too! Rape.) . The men are incarcerated, deported, or otherwise removed.

I can verify that publicly posting ICE locations on Facebook or mentioning antifacism will get your account banned and related accounts flagged as "suspected to have links to a known terrorist organization."

It should be fairly obvious that while it might be non-white women today, tomorrow it will be white women.

Of course any white man like me that speaks of the horrors and continues to dissent will undoubtedly be targeted. There is ONE single weapon that is effective in the war on fascism. Knowledge.

[–] edible_funk@lemmy.world 2 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

White christians have been sterilizing brown people for hundreds of years.

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social 1 points 3 hours ago

That's why it's not hard to believe in the slightest.

[–] Randomgal@lemmy.ca 10 points 10 hours ago (3 children)

The weapons to fight fascism are weapons.

[–] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 1 points 2 hours ago

While true theres a reason most war gods have knowledge connotations or are also gods of knowledge. Warfare without intellect or wisdom is doomed to fail. Which is more effective throwing ten guys against a thousand or whittling that thousand down through attrition tactics until they break.

[–] edible_funk@lemmy.world 2 points 6 hours ago

This machine kills fascists.

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social 5 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

And how do you expect people to fight back if they don't know how to.

[–] Randomgal@lemmy.ca 5 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

With guns. I literally just said it wtf.

[–] KairuByte@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

I pull the trigger and nothing happens

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social 3 points 8 hours ago

Mebe I look in barrel?

[–] nymnympseudonym@piefed.social 47 points 13 hours ago (2 children)

I would prefer to be led by adults

Than by children with an Invisible Friend in the Sky

[–] explodicle@sh.itjust.works 3 points 8 hours ago* (last edited 8 hours ago)

Hey leave the children out of this, plenty of them are smart enough that they figure it out on their own.

[–] Gates9@sh.itjust.works 14 points 12 hours ago (1 children)
[–] alaphic@lemmy.world 15 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

Jesus christ, how much therapy are these kids gonna need? They've already had to watch their father apologize to fucking white supremacists for his wife not being white during the campaign, if they haven't already I'm sure they're destined to hear incessantly about him fucking couches, this shit now, and I'm sure somewhere around 500k other things I've already forgotten about by now

[–] Sanctus@anarchist.nexus 14 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

Fucken wild, I say some shit like that my nuts would be in a vice in 0.4 seconds flat. These dudes all need nose punches and partners who are willing to really grip those nuts.

[–] alaphic@lemmy.world 11 points 12 hours ago

I saw a meme once that put it better than I ever could:

Some people just need a high five. In the face. With a chair.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 7 points 12 hours ago

God, what an asshole.

[–] tornavish@lemmy.cafe 7 points 13 hours ago
[–] ArbitraryValue@sh.itjust.works 1 points 12 hours ago* (last edited 12 hours ago) (2 children)

So people want him to (1) believe that the Catholic faith is essential for eternal salvation but also (2) not care whether or not his wife is Catholic? That wouldn't make any sense. Of course any Catholic who cares about his loved ones is going to hope that they convert to Catholicism.

[–] Zaktor@sopuli.xyz 20 points 12 hours ago* (last edited 12 hours ago) (3 children)

No one thinks he believes #1. Like most Republicans, he's very obviously not a true believer or he'd be acting differently regarding doing good for people, not just waving the Bible around when he does evil. Two actual Popes have said what he's involved in is wrong.

[–] TheRealKuni@piefed.social 2 points 5 hours ago

Hence “join Christianity” instead of “convert.” It’s about being in the right club to these people.

[–] Almacca@aussie.zone 4 points 7 hours ago

As a wise man once said, "By their fruits shall you know them."

[–] nymnympseudonym@piefed.social 13 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

Au contraire

These people believe

They have faith

Which means their critical thinking skills are underdeveloped and they will believe any fucking thing their in-group believes

[–] mcv@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 hours ago

Their religion is white supremacy. Vance only figured that out after he got married, though.

[–] CXORA@aussie.zone 14 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

Marrying someone in the hopes that you will convert them is a dick move.

[–] ArbitraryValue@sh.itjust.works 2 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

He married her and he wants her to convert, but there's no reason to think that he married her for the purpose of converting her.

[–] CXORA@aussie.zone 1 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

Ok, well converting someone to christianity is a dick move in itself.🙃

[–] aidan@lemmy.world 1 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

Thats contrary to the basis of Islam and Christianity, which explicitly have always been about conversions.

Christians believe their God cares about and wants them to try to save everyone, they believe following the Christian God is the path to everlasting happiness, that's where the evangelism comes from- even when it takes a cruel form it is at least in theory a good intent(in practice of course often not).

Muslims believe their God wants all people to recognize and submit to the truth of himself, and that spreading this message is a duty.

Who gives a damn what the folks being assholes think, I don't think I'm in the wrong for wanting to commit a wee bit of genocide on the Mormons and Seventh Day Adventists doesn't mean I ain't a right grade A bastard for it.
