The Fox and the Hound!

Yeah it's definitely a right wing christian agenda in this whole thing. Same as with the 'manosphere', which started out telling people to be tough and 'manly' and has ended up with something like purity culture where they evaluate women to carry their babies for them and vote against women's rights. I even saw a stat that these same young men that follow the manosphere are starting to turn religious, surprise surprise.
This TERF shit is the same agenda but for women. And the terminology is slightly more sophisticated because it's aimed at people that actually read and won't believe just any story about George Soros or whatever. So their version of "woke agenda" is "trans ideology". But they're both the same, both fighting to preserve and enforce white christian patriarchal culture onto everyone and push down and eradicate anyone who breaks norms.
And the sad part is that I think a lot genuinely think they're trailblazing rebels or something. But they're doing exactly what the conservative religious right wants. The same people that want to see them reduced to kitchen appliances and baby incubators.
Tracksuit pants and hoodies for me. If it's particularly cold, I'll wear a jersey over my hoodie. I also have a fairly sizeable collection of bathrobes that I practically live in sometimes.
I'll wear the same hoodies out but that's about it. Although I've got a pair of plaid tracksuit pants that I'd love a more wearable out and about version of.
I kinda think Witchy Memes and WitchesvsPatriarchy should be merged.
You pretty much answered this for me.
Absolute favourite:
Kiki's Delivery Service. Character and story that I relate with most of our of all of the movies. I wish I'd watched it when I was a kid.
Other favourites:
- Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind
- Pom Poko
- Whisper of the Heart
- Howl's Moving Castle
- The Tale of Princess Kaguya
- When Marnie Was There
Almost favourites:
- Princess Mononoke (I don't like Ashitaka that much by the end)
- Spirited Away (only because this is the only Ghibli that I ever came across in the wild before watching all of them, I'm over exposed to it)
- Earwig and the Witch (love the concept and general story, not a fan of the animation style and a lot of specifics)
Hell yeah. It's always the extroverts that act like they're the default and introverts just need to be coaxed out of their shells. I think that it comes from the common misunderstanding that being introverted is the same thing as being socially anxious. I think they probably go hand in hand, in that a socially anxious person is possibly introverted as a defense mechanism but it's not the same. Being introverted just means that you have a limited social battery that takes longer to change.
I don't. I tried it and I don't really think it's my thing. Haven't explored it top to bottom though, so I'm definitely open to suggestions of channels to check out.
Usually if I'm not impressed in an RPG, I'm watching something fantasy, sci-fi or comic book lol. Also trying to listen to more music again.
Me too sigh. Or binge watching or gaming. Cats are easily distracted.
These days I alternate between binge watching cat and gaming cat. Very rarely reading cat but I want to start balancing it more with the binge watching and gaming.
Knitting cat could represent any art or craft or creative thing. Haven't been knitting cat in a while. I'd actually like to learn knitting, and sewing though, literally.
Used to be drinking cat regularly but I've gone off it in the last few years. A bottle of red on the weekend is starting to sound good again though.
I'm usually laundry cat on Mondays (I hate Mondays..)
And all of that is of course when I'm not sleepy cat. Which includes doomscrolling for me.
Yeah this is the answer that I came here to see. These definitely belong in this list. Cow & Chicken could be particularly unhinged.
Stardew Valley, Skyrim and ADOM for games that you can keep going back to over years and playing in different ways and still discovering new things. Vegas Solitaire for more of a mindless time passer when you don't want something immersive and involved. Burnout Paradise for something in between complex and mindless and something different once in a while.
Edit: I hope I eventually get rescued though because there's a LOT of shorter titles that I'd miss.
