I support a few religious organizations through volunteer work.

My rules for these organizations are simple:

  1. The religion takes a back seat to helping the community
  2. They're not preachy or trying to convert people
  3. They don't diddle little kids.

You'd think it'll be easy to meet that criteria.

Over the past few decades, the number of Americans who identify as religiously unaffiliated—often referred to as “nones”—has grown rapidly. In the 1970s, only about 5% of Americans fell into this category. Today, that number exceeds 25%. Scholars have debated whether this change simply reflects a general decline in belief, or whether it signals something more complex. The research team wanted to explore the deeper forces at play: Why are people leaving institutional religion? What are they replacing it with? And how are their personal values shaping that process?

I took the test for fun and randomly picked answers.

The AI.gov repository and staging site vanished when we asked questions, but don't worry – we captured backups

Grammarly is like juiced up AI spell check/writing correction. It's also run by the Intergalactic Federation.

Starbucks gave me a place to use the bathroom, free wifi, a judgement free place to mentally relax during 2010-2020.

Then they did a racist ass arrest, broke up unionizing, CEO tried to run for fucking president.

Stopped going there years ago and been watching it all burn.

I wouldn't include Nice, but I agree with that.

Israel came in and started an act of war. If it was flipped, news would be screaming about Iran being a warmonger.

Law enforcement agencies across Southern California violated state law more than 100 times last month by sharing information from automated license plate readers with federal agents, records show.

The Los Angeles Police Department and sheriff’s departments in San Diego and Orange counties searched license plate readings on behalf of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection, according to a database of queries obtained by anti-surveillance group Oakland Privacy and provided to CalMatters.

Not being sarcastic at all.

But You know, I never really thought about it that way.

Like, we can cross out panels in comic books. We own the book. We can choose our own narrative, make it whatever we want. Uncle Ben lives. Batman carries a gun. The A on Captain America is Ass.

I can't believe I had this thought without any drugs.

You really empowered my creativity. Thank you good sir.

I mean Mad Max has a reason for that, because of the harsh setting and difficult lifestyle where everything is trying to kill you. You know... Australia.

I mean that's what I do as a programmer.

The writing is just incredible. How can a game have more than a dozen banger lines?

And if you get a bunch of people in a room, you'll have an argument about what they are because there's so many.
