Oh, that's a shame. I would still consider it if it was on discount though, just to see. That's if it ever comes to Switch 2 in the first place.
Tales of Vesperia (first released 2008) is on Switch. In fact it's only £8 on the eshop right now, which is really cheap. I'm slightly tempted to get it and play it when I have more time. Any opinions on that one?
Oh, sorry, I meant to say I don't enable GA, not that she shouldn't (though if she doesn't use it for anything, then might as well turn it off). Perhaps there's settings to stop GA taking control of media playback that can be tweaked
I lost my jack during an upgrade last year, but I also got free buds with the phone. I thought I would hate them, but I actually listen to more music now than I ever did before because it's so convenient not to be wired to the phone.
We also have a couple of good over-ear wired headphones in our house, so I bought an adapter to be able to use them. I bought a no brand one for a few pounds off Amazon (just to try it out at first, really), so probably the DAC inside is not doing them justice, but they still sound great, much better than the buds. It still works fine now, so until it breaks, I'm pretty happy with it. If it breaks, I won't be happy with it, but then I'll probably get a better one.
For your sister, maybe try a different adapter if the connection's bad, assuming it's not filled with lint or something. Google assistant has only ever gotten in the way of everything for me, so don't enable it - not sure what to do about that.
I played symphonia (gc) and abyss (3ds) long ago and enjoyed them both, but can't really get interested in these 15-year-old remasters of old games. They look like the same game, same gameplay system as those, just with different characters. If something recent like Tales of Arise gets a port to Switch 2, though - then I'll be interested.
Did a little bit of TotK becuse I still haven't finished all the shrines and I actually quite like the puzzles. Still got about 20 shrines left I think. I think that's the last little completionist thing I'll do in the game.
The conditions she was held under are obviously terrible, but I also can't believe they also just stole a bunch of her stuff which is clearly not related (like her jewellery) and just left her ~200 miles or whatever it is from her home where they arrested her.
Ah, I didn't see your edit to say you'd played it too. I'm not sure if it will appeal to a more hardcore player (I hadn't played any for at least a year prior), but yeah, I think it's pretty nice for newbies and more casual players. Some people will like just opening packs and might not bother with the battles.
One thing about PTCGL was that the app/PC client were really bloated, slow, and ran hot on my devices. The app for Pocket has great performance.
I've still been playing Fire Emblem Engage in bursts, but don't think I played it this week - however, I think I'm on the last chapter now, so might finish it this weekend. Although there's still DLC chapters to do that I haven't looked at yet.
What I've actually been playing is Pokemon TCG Pocket. I played PTCG Online a bit just before it transitioned to PTCG Live, and then continued with PTCGL a bit after that, so I was already familiar with how battles work. So far, I'm pretty happy with PTCGP. It's a simplified version of the normal PTCG rules with custom cards without real-world equivalents. It is definitely more straightforwards, which is nice for doing quick battles but limits the types of interesting plays you can make. What I really appreciate is some kind of single-player mode (which they had in PTCGO but scrapped in PTCGL) with interesting challenges to do.
I'm not sure if a meta has emerged, but I feel that the online battles I've done are farily diverse it terms of the decks people use - I think there are more viable decks to use. In PTCGL, there were like 3 or 4 decks that everyone used, so that battles were really repetitive.
It's still early days for PTCGP, but I think it's a very well made game. Not something I'll play all year round, but might dip in every now and then.
To be fair, it's only the countries in dark blue on that map that have it. The light blue countries have something like one of your parents has to be a citizen/settled, which is what the previous commenter was suggesting as an alternative.
Not most, technically - wiki says 0-14 make 44% of population. But this article breaks down the 70% further by saying 44% killed were 14 or under, so it's pretty much bang on for indicating that they're killing Palestinians at random.
The huge list of echoes that you have to scroll through in a single line looking for the right one is pretty annoying. It was same kind of problem when you wanted to attach something to an arrow in TotK.
I've been playing a bit of BotW again. It's quite fun to start a new save file and just go exploring from the start again, but I've actually been playing my "complete" save file, ticking off a few completionist things. I expanded all weapon and bow slots, and I'm 50-100 korok seeds away from doing all the shield slots - not sure if I'll get round to it, because I never have issues with shield storage. I'm only 3 side quests away from having done them all, so I will do those ones.
