And so it begins....

I know Internet commenters LOVE doom and gloom. Covid had people screaming in the comments that we we literally all going to die. Yes, it was a pandemic, but panic was never healthy. And its not now either.
Read the article.
It is unclear whether the human bird flu patient in Colorado was also infected by B3.13.
The patient was experiencing "flu-like symptoms" and had "health conditions that can make people more vulnerable to illness,"
Health experts had thought that the B3.13 strain might be less severe for people infected. That is different from the D1.1 strain that was behind a bird flu death in Louisiana last month and a hospitalization of a child in Canada last year.
Stop seeing "bird flu" in the title and promoting panic just to make a news company more money
Even so, there's good reason to worry that things might go sideways fast. Humpty Dumpty only oversaw the first ~8 months of covid. Can you imagine if it was 4 years instead?
I get it, my comment was only really a joke/meme about the similarities of the situation.
It’s ok guys, we just confirmed anti-vaxxer Leatherfaced RFK jr to handle this sort of thing.
We are fucked.
Hey, don't worry! The new administration just axed all the infections disease investigators! Sleep well! No testing, no investigating means no problem!
Can't have positive results if you don't test, duh.
He’ll just do some heroin and get it all figured out.
the first one never ended
