As an european, i 100% support this. Send all the crazy right-wingers to america. we don't need them here. There's nothing for them to do here anyways.

[–] Bloomcole@lemmy.world 3 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

would be quite empty here. It's not only 'crazy right-wingers'.
Plenty political parties including the ones pretending to be socialist have adopted the right-wing anti-immigrant policies.
Same for the horrible EU government and their fortress Europe.

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.world 1 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

I find the xenophobic left-wing European political parties quite strange. I generally chalk it up to Putin’s influence.

[–] Bloomcole@lemmy.world 1 points 11 hours ago* (last edited 11 hours ago)

couldn't be more wrong.
They manage fascism and xenophobia all on their own.
History repeats itself

[–] rozodru@piefed.social 3 points 16 hours ago

...This feels like a trap.

[–] Blackmist@feddit.uk 2 points 17 hours ago

I often think we should let in anybody who wants to work, as long as they take one of ours that don't...

[–] _cryptagion@anarchist.nexus 67 points 1 day ago (4 children)

can europe offer refugee status to people that don't want to live in the US anymore?

[–] Bloomcole@lemmy.world 2 points 18 hours ago

NO, they deserve to live there

[–] the_wise_wolf@feddit.org 15 points 1 day ago

Yes. Let's trade!

listen, it works out for both of us. I get a country that values human lives and privacy a little more than my current one, and you get some good mexican food. you ever had a taco before? it's gonna change your entire world.

[–] BastingChemina@slrpnk.net 2 points 16 hours ago

We don't need tacos, we have tacos at home.

The tacos at home:

We have Mexicans and taco trucks too.
And I can cook, so looks like you have nothing to offer.
The best thing you can do is give back the land you stole from Mexico.
You don't even need to move if you're in the south.

[–] AngularViscosity@piefed.social 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Is there anything tacos can't solve??

[–] foggy@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Medicinal tacos, check mate.

[–] danekrae@lemmy.world -1 points 1 day ago (3 children)

When the nazis invaded our countries, we didn't just move...

[–] Carighan@piefed.world 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

True, quite a lot of you welcome them with open arms instead. 🤮

Those people are buried in an unmarked grave pretty close to where I live.

here is a danish wiki article

The execution shed at Christianshavn (also called the shooting shed) was one of the two places where the death sentences in the Danish court battle after the occupation were consummated in 1946-50. The second place of execution was in Undallslund plantation at Viborg.

The execution shed was an architect-designed boardhouse with concrete floor built in one of the more distant parts of Holmen, at 2. Redan of Enveloppen at Margretheholm. The original drawing, which can be found in the National Archives, is referred to as "Pistol Shooting Space. Shed to Skiver" (i.e. target slices) but the place was only listed for the executions. 1]

The concrete floor with drain grate can still be seen. Enveloppen is part of Fristaden Christiania (Bådsmandsstrædes Kaserne) under the name Dyssen, and the historical powder magazine at 2. Redan is called Airconditionair conditioning. The concrete foundation lies at the end of the building's angle, right on the eastern side of the path. A wooden shed, which is based on the same drawings, but built 1980, stands by the building The cosmic flower on Syddyssen, which is the historical gunpowder magazine at 5. Redan.[[2]

30 death row inmates were executed by firing here. The most recent was Ib Birkedal Hansen on 20 July 1950 at 9pm. 01:00, which was also the last to be executed in Denmark. 16 others were executed in Undallslund.[ 3] [[4]

there's a lot more wrong with the US than just the nazis in power.

[–] danekrae@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Fair point.

[–] kazerniel@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

In Europe alone it is estimated as many as 65 million people were forced from their homes by the war including those used as slave labour by the Nazis, ex-Prisoners of War, and the millions of citizens whose homes had been bombed and shelled and who had fled advancing armies.

read until the end of the quote

and the millions of citizens whose homes had been bombed and shelled and who had fled advancing armies.

[–] danekrae@lemmy.world 0 points 14 hours ago* (last edited 14 hours ago) (1 children)

fled

Who am I kidding, laconic phrases won't work here...

whose homes had been bombed and shelled

[–] kazerniel@lemmy.world 0 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

You're acting deliberately obtuse. Millions of people fled from the war, also known as "moving", to reference your original comment.

[–] danekrae@lemmy.world 0 points 12 hours ago* (last edited 12 hours ago)

I'M the obtuse one? You're acting like fleeing from your bombed home, is the same as choosing to move away from idiocy...

"refugee and migrant is the same thing"...

[–] TheDoozer@lemmy.world 0 points 1 day ago

Leaving before the rush?

[–] rustyfish@piefed.world 56 points 1 day ago (2 children)

You know what? Yes! Thank you very much!

Thanks for taking them in. We really don’t want them around here anymore. They are not only some of the worst, but also the dumbest people in Europe. We would happily help them pack their stuff. This will considerably improve our already high living standards.

God bless you USA ❤️

[–] Wildmimic@anarchist.nexus 18 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I wanted to say the same, i will pay for as many flight tickets as i can if needed! He can have every single one of thost mouthbreathers.

[–] BingBong@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 day ago

Can we set up a trade basis so some of us can head over there?

[–] Carighan@piefed.world 5 points 1 day ago

Finally the German AfD is getting the kick-more-people-out-from-Germany they always ask for! Themselves!

[–] EndOfLine@lemmy.world 41 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Wait, the people that oppose migrants are looking to become migrants?

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.world 33 points 1 day ago

*Expatriates, not filthy immigrants.

[–] xxce2AAb 40 points 1 day ago

Oh, the irony.

[–] hanke@feddit.nu 25 points 1 day ago (1 children)

So if I get this right, refugees are okay as long as they are white and faithful to Trump?

That doesn't sound problematic at all.

[–] DarkDecay@lemmy.world 13 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Who wants to migrate to a third world country? Trumps delusional again

[–] HubertManne@piefed.social 6 points 1 day ago

yes but if americans are lucky europe will do a tit for tat.

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Scumbags with a little bit of money and a lot of ego.

[–] MangioneDontMiss@feddit.nl 8 points 1 day ago

i'm confused

[–] Aggravationstation@feddit.uk 6 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Oh please open this to British people right now and take the gammon horde so we don't end up with Farage in charge.

[–] kazerniel@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago

good riddance! (though the irony of anti-migrationists migrating is amusing)

[–] crandlecan@mander.xyz 11 points 1 day ago

🤣🖕🖕🖕🖕🤘

[–] njm1314@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

Okay can we work on an exchange program? Cuz like if some German Nazis want to come here I'll take their place.

[–] TheJesusaurus@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

All of the white replacement, they're coming for our jobs and women type who worried about Democrats letting "future blue voters" in en masse.

Not a peep about this deliberate policy to import white South African racists and European fascists

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

I definitely “peeped” on that Afrikaners BS.

[–] qx128@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Is there a Lemmy community for “BrandNewSentence” where this can be cross posted? Because this sentence is definitely unique! Good grief, the cognitive dissonance is too damn high.

[–] Darkcoffee@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 day ago

Oh please offer the same for Canadians! They are soooooo oppressed! They need refugee status! 😏
